![]() This is the first sentence of paragraph THREE. ![]() ![]() This is the first sentence of paragraph TWO.īut since Pandoc requires block quotes be followed by a blank line, the only output I can manage looks like this: This is the first sentence of paragraph ONE. For double quotes, simply double the symbols. For single quotes, a grave accent, (on American keyboards, this symbol is found on the tilde key adjacent to the number 1 key on most keyboards) gives a left quote mark, and an apostrophe, gives a right. This is the second sentence of paragraph ONE. Quote-marks edit edit source LaTeX treats left and right quotes as different entities. This is achieved easily enough in LaTeX-I simply insert the quote environment into the paragraph without leaving any blank lines between the quote and the surrounding lines, like this: This is the first sentence of paragraph ONE. While this is often what I want, there are many times that I want to continue the paragraph preceeding the quote. the scale in the pdf viewer is now automatically adapted after closing/restoring the list of pages panel - layout has been improved in the find/replace. My problem is that Pandoc seems to interpret paragraph text following a block quote as the start of a new paragraph. I am using pandoc to convert from markdown to LaTeX. ![]()
